TurnUp raises €2 million to fill every dental chair

TurnUp raised €2 million in a seed round led by Newion and RDY Ventures to keep even more dental chairs occupied. Meet us at Dentex, stand 5267.

TurnUp has raised €2 million in a seed funding round led by Newion, with participation from RDY Ventures.

Missed appointments remain one of the most costly challenges for dental practices. Every no-show means an empty chair, lost revenue and a team that loses time on phone calls, reminders and waitlists to fill the gap at the last minute.

TurnUp is the platform that keeps every chair occupied. We predict which patients are likely to miss their appointment, prevent gaps by automatically asking them to confirm or cancel, and instantly fill cancelled slots from your waitlist. Confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling and waitlist management run automatically, also outside office hours and in multiple languages. TurnUp works with your existing practice management system, with no migration and no manual callbacks.

Today, more than 150 practices and 1,200 dentists in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK use TurnUp every day.

TurnUp was founded in Ghent in 2022 by Nicolas De Bruyne and Jona Decubber. Koen Lepez joined as CEO in 2024.

"We always start from the same question: how do we make sure every chair in a practice is filled? No-shows are the biggest obstacle to occupancy. In Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, we've shown we can solve that problem. Now we want to do the same for every care practice in Europe and then the US," says Koen Lepez, CEO of TurnUp.

With the new funding, we are expanding our commercial team, strengthening our technical team and accelerating our growth in the UK, where we are running a pilot with a group of 400 practices.

Want to see how TurnUp fills empty chairs in your practice? Visit us at Dentex, stand 5267, from 1 to 3 October at Brussels Expo.
