About us
Akrivo is a patient record and practice management system for dentists, built in Belgium for the way Belgian practices work. Our goal is simple: give dentists and assistants more time for their patients, with software that feels calm and knows the Belgian system inside out.
Everything you need during the day is in one place. You can book appointments per chair in a few clicks. Patients automatically get an email reminder the day before, in their own language. The waiting list and yearly recalls are tracked without separate spreadsheets. Each patient record holds personal details, medical history, treatments and images together, and allergies, medication and other medical alerts stand out right away.
The dental chart is the heart of Akrivo. Select the tooth and surface, pick the treatment, and Akrivo finds the correct RIZIV nomenclature code for you. You can draw up a treatment plan, schedule it straight into the agenda and record the patient's informed consent alongside it. At checkout, the fee, reimbursement and patient share are calculated automatically from the current Belgian tariffs, and you get a clear financial overview per family. The MyCareNet link for checking insurability is in its final stage.
Specialists are covered too. Orthodontics gets its own medical history, clinical exam, space analysis, full treatment course and article 15 nomenclature. For periodontics you record the diagnosis with stage and grade and follow up the therapy. In endodontics you register the diagnosis and each canal separately, and Akrivo reminds you when follow-up checks are due.
Imaging is built in. Akrivo works with the imaging software in your practice, so captures land in the right patient file on their own. The built-in viewer shows intraoral images and full CBCT volumes: scroll through the slices, measure in millimetres, view axial, coronal and sagittal sections or the full 3D model, and even plan an implant. It all runs in the browser, with no extra software to install.
The work around the treatment is covered as well. You can track lab work against an agreed date and write referral letters from your own templates.
Health data deserves proper care. Every time someone opens a record it's logged, your data stays in Belgium, and Akrivo runs fully online, so there's no server in your practice and you can work from any computer. The software is available in Dutch, French and English, so everyone on your team can use their own language.
